These terms govern the services provided by MSJ Building & Maintenance, trading as London's Local Handyman, a sole trader based in Hackney, London.

All prices are subject to change. The rate applicable to your job will be confirmed before work begins. Fit-out and larger project prices are quoted individually following a free site visit.
Quotes provided via WhatsApp or this website are estimates only based on the information you provide. They do not constitute a binding fixed price.
For larger jobs — including full fit-outs, kitchen and bathroom renovations, and commercial work — a free site visit will be arranged before a final price is confirmed in writing.
We reserve the right to revise a quote if the scope of work changes or if unforeseen issues are discovered on site.
Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We send Stripe payment links via WhatsApp for card payments. Bank transfer details are available on request.
Invoices must be settled within 7 days of the invoice date. Late payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a booked appointment.
Late cancellations — made with less than 24 hours notice — may incur a cancellation fee to cover travel and preparation costs. This will be communicated at the time of booking where applicable.
MSJ Building & Maintenance holds public liability insurance covering damage or injury caused by our work.

If unexpected issues are discovered during a job, we will notify you before proceeding with any additional work that would affect cost.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at /terms. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the latest terms.
